Alastair Brown & Roger Thyne (Kilmarnock Barassie) are the first pair to book their place in the last four of the 2010 Ayrshire Fourball Championship.
In their quarter final match against Andrew Stewart & Martin Scott (Irvine Ravenspark), played at Barassie, the host pairing moved on to the semi finals with a comfortable 6 & 5 win.
The three remaining quarter final matches are due to be completed by 8th August.
