AYRSHIRE SENIORS CHAMPIONSHIP - Entry forms now available for 2019 event.

Entry forms are now available for the 2019 Ayrshire Seniors Championship, to be held at Ayr Dalmilling Golf Course on Tuesday 16th July.

Entry is £10 and entries close on Saturday 6th July. The handicap limit is 24, and starting times will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

The entry forms have been emailed to club secretaries for distribution to members, and can also be downloaded from the appropriate link on the left of this page, under the Entry Forms heading.

Entry forms are now available for the 2019 Ayrshire Boys Championship, to be held at Rowallan Castle Golf Course on Thursday 1st August.

Entry is £10 and entries close on Saturday 20th July. The handicap limit is 28, and if the entry is over subscribed then a ballot on handicap will be made following the closing date for entries.

The entry forms have been emailed to club secretaries for distribution to members, and can also be downloaded from the appropriate link on the left of this page, under the Entry Forms heading.

The top 16 players in the Strokeplay event will progress to contest the Ayrshire Boys Matchplay Championship, over the Prestwick Golf Club links from 12th to 15th August.

This year, for the first time, the championships will be counting competitions in the World Amateur Golf Rankings.

Entry is £20 and entries close on Saturday 13th April. The handicap limit is 3, and if the entry is over subscribed then a ballot on handicap will be made following the closing date for entries.

The top 16 players in the Strokeplay event will progress to contest the Ayrshire Matchplay Championship, over the Bogside course of Irvine Golf Club from 6th to 9th May.

The championships will once again be counting competitions in the World Amateur Golf rankings.

AYRSHIRE JUNIOR TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP - Entry forms out to clubs for season opener

Entry forms have been emailed to relevant member clubs for the opening event of the 2019 Ayrshire Golf Association calendar, the Ayrshire Junior Team Championship.

The event will be held this year at Prestwick St Nicholas Golf Club on Sunday 21st April, with four trophies up for grabs.

The Matt Lygate trophy goes to the team returning the best three scratch scores from four, whilst the team returning the best three nett scores from four will win the Andrew D Nimmo Trophy.

Individual trophies will also be competed for, the Prestwick Circuits trophy being awarded to the player returning the best scratch score and the Carrick Trophy going to the player with the best nett return.

Entry is £25 per team, and any junior convenor or club secretary not in receipt of the entry form and who wishes one should contact the Area Secretary.
